The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK programme is designed to provide high-quality, practical education and business support to leaders of high-growth small businesses and social enterprises across the country.
Following a rigorous selection process Jonathan Thornton, Managing Director and CEO of PC Consultants joined the programme in 2022 and in January 2024 graduated at a specially held event in the prestigious Sheldonian Theatre at the heart of Oxford, the ceremonial home of the University of Oxford, built in 1664 and designed by Christopher Wren for the University.

Small businesses such as these are the engine of the UK economy and at the heart of their local communities. 10,000 Small Businesses equips them with the tools to grow sustainability and unlock their full potential.
Launched by Goldman Sachs in 2010 the programme is designed by leading experts and is run in partnership with the Said Business School at Oxford University, the Aston Centre for Growth at Aston University.
